How to cut opals with a trim saw 101

Hey everyone! Hope you are doing well. I shot a short video showing how I cut opal doublets with a lapidary trim saw. Pay attention to the time it takes for the saw to cut the stone. One of the biggest problems I see when people start out cutting stones in the lapidary field is that they put too much pressure on the stone when pushing it into the saw blade.

I will be doing a video later on how to create a cabochon after this timing process.
